Formally established in 2005, the Advanced Practice Service (APS) consists of more than 200 nurse practitioners and physician assistants. As a critical care nurse practitioner, Children’s supports an autonomous practice which allows you to practice invasive skills such as intubation, chest tube placement and central line ion. APS team members function in a variety of roles including practitioner, consultant, educator and researcher at two locations – Dallas and Plano, Texas

Experienced (two years or more experience) Neonatal and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Recruitment Bonus Program:
This program offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and temporary housing for up to two years for those relocating more than 100 miles for NNPs and ACPNPs with two or more years of experience who are hired to work in the NICU, PICU or CICU.

Recent Graduate (within the past two years) Neonatal and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Recruitment Bonus Program:
This program offers a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus and tuition reimbursement for NNP and ACPNP graduates (within the past two years) who are hired into, transfer in or work in the NICU, PICU, or (CICU).
